%X Isolated skeletal muscle metastasis in nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a rare event particularly when it is detected at initial staging. Our case report describes the whole body imaging with fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography detecting asymptomatic primary NSCLC causing the solitary symptomatic metastasis to the gluteus maximus muscle. Patient underwent systemic chemotherapy.
