N2  - Hemangiomas are benign vascular lesion, most commonly seen in liver and skin whereas rarely found in genitourinary system. Urethral hemangiomas are mostly found in males. To the best of our knowledge, in females only handful of case reports has been described in the literature. We report a case of urethral hemangioma in a 28-year-old female presented with history of intermittent hematuria. Cystourethroscopy examination revealed vascular mass of 2 cm Χ 2 cm at anterior urethral meatus. Surgical excision of mass with fulguration of base with diathermy was performed under general anesthesia. Final diagnosis on histopathology was given as cavernous type of urethral hemangioma. In spite of its benign nature, these lesions have a tendency to recur. In more extensive lesions or recurrence, open exploration with resection of involved tissue is always needed. Treatment of hemangiomas depends on size and site of the lesion and follow-up is needed to avoid recurrence. Histomorphological diagnosis of the lesion is always warranted in view of different treatment modalities.
