Reported incidence of colonic lipomas varies from 0.2% to 4.4%. These tumors are believed to arise from the connective tissue of the wall of the intestine. We here describe a case of 60-year-old male who presented with features of intestinal obstruction. The patient underwent left hemicolectomy for a mass involving proximal descending colon.
